Increase Adsense Earnings with Placement

AdSense allows you to display at most three ad units per page. Most blogger and webmaster utilize all three. But all these three units have the same keywords but the value per click will not be the same. The adverts that pay more are usually placed on top or first in your web page. That means the lower your adverts go the lower the returns per click.

Say you have AdSense below the name of your website then on your side bar and then after your post. With these three ads unit, the one below your website name is the one that pays more per click while the one below your post offers the least.

To see for yourself which ads unit is performing better you use the AdSense Channel.

And so if many visitors are clicking on adverts after the post then you will earn a little on your AdSense. Say the good paying keywords appearing below the website or blog name pays a dollar per click while the one at the end of the post only pays half a dollar; and so in four clicks the adverts below the website name is making you four dollars to your AdSense while with four clicks the one below give you two dollars. See the difference?

How to you solve this?

A better solution is to remove your under performing adverts or place your under performing adverts below the good one so you increase your AdSense income.

OpenShot Add Music or Sound Effects
