Formula for Success in Blogging for Money

Making money from blogs is a real challenge. Many of us want or have blogs and would want to do it full-time. Stories of quitting their day job and enjoying life as a blogger fascinates us. Initially, it is a challenge finding an audience; and more challenging than that is finding revenue amid the sea of millions of blogs.

Successful blogging depends on following passion, finding audience, and gaining revenue.

Following passion. What are you passionate about? What are your hobbies? What are your interests? Having a blog about what you are passionate about making blogging fun and easy. Doing your passion does not feel like work, something heavy on your shoulders.

David Carson said, “The most important thing is to do something you love, whatever that is. It goes back to the definition of a good job, which is, if you could afford to, would you do the same work for free? If you would, you've got a great job -- if not, what the heck are you doing? -- you're going to be dead a long time. We're in a field that allows you to look forward to that work, not watch the clock, be creative, and even get paid for it. I've often thought I make a living from my hobby.”

Finding audience. In writing blog posts or articles, remember that content is still king. Success in blogging is a long road requiring lots of hard work. Be patient. As for ideas for content, you can write reviews about certain products. You can scout forums and write the information you've gathered into your blog.

Gaining revenue. The easiest way to earn money is through Google Adsense--text ads. You can also get into ClickBank--affiliate marketing. You also apply as a blogger in a blog network. You can also become a professional blogger and offer direct ad space on your blog.

The guide to success in blogging can be easily summarized into following passion, finding audience and then gaining revenue.

Having your own personal blog and blogging for a network has its advantages that you should look into. Why not get all those advantages by doing both?
