YouTube is sharing revenue with its video submitters. But it is something Metacafe has already been doing. There is also Revver which splits the revenue you get from your videos 50/50. But Revver is now defunct; it shut down in 2011

As for passive income from YouTube, you need to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 view hours.

OpenShot Add Music or Sound Effects

In OpenShot, you can delete the audio of your video and replace it with another one. You can right click on the video click and select separate video. Or you can click the video and let the audio mute. There is option to fade in and fade out for the audio.
