PowerPoint as the New Windows Video Editor

Microsoft Windows have long discontinued including Windows Movie maker in its list of essential programs.

You may resort to other free video editors like OpenShot. You can find OpenShot tutorials here.

But you can also use PowerPoint slides and export it as video in mp4 format among others.

OpenShot Add Music or Sound Effects

In OpenShot, you can delete the audio of your video and replace it with another one. You can right click on the video click and select separate video. Or you can click the video and let the audio mute. There is option to fade in and fade out for the audio.
