  • like RSI, is there a line in the middle
  • when signal line and MACD line crosses over, there is a trend reversal
  • if the lines are below the middle line, its a downtrend
  • if the lines are above the middle line, its an uptren
Randy goes on to share another set up of MACD
  • he set the parameter to 3, 10, 16 instead of the usual 12, 26, 9
  • he also converted the histograms into shaded areas
