Online courses are common thing. There are several websites which offer these types of paid courses and one of them is Udemy.
There is a limited First timer user promo where $199 course are slashed done to to as low as $10 for a limited time offer of 24 hours. I took in the bait and purchased so many courses that I can even swallow. I was excited thinking I made a bargain. But there were those who commented that courses as priced outrageous at $199 so that there is a perceived bargain when price is reduced to like 90-94%. And Udemy often ran these type of promos all year round.
Nick Savage noted this type of promos at Udemy since 2016. He said
" With Udemy the majority of the time the courses are discounted as low as $15 to $9 bucks."
Does discounted courses mean low quality Udemy courses? The answer is no.
Dave Espino, a Udemy instructor said
Many high-quality courses are sold through these big-discount Udemy promotions, mine included, so it is not a reflection of the course quality.

I got a course for $10 whose actual price was $500 but I must say it was worth $500 if you buy at that price also.

It allows instructors to overprice their course to create a *false* perception of the course value, *knowing* their course will get discounted. Top tip — use ratings as a guide, not price.
Question:
I bought the course on sale. Does this affect how long I have access to the course?
No. Your access to a course is not affected by the price you paid for it.--That's good to know
